Local families will host all students who attend Australian Programs. For your comfort and peace of mind, all Host families must:

• Undergo an interview and rigorous selection process conducted by a School or UWA approved Professional Homestay Management Company.
• Apart from the selection process, all families must undergo a Federal Police Check and a Working with Children Check (State Police).

In most cases, your Host Family will have had many years’ experience in hosting international students.
Students not only benefit from the great value of being in a homestay family and have the ultimate safe, enjoyable and worthwhile leaning experience and but also have the opportunity to fully participate in the Australian Lifestyle and enjoy the local customs. Your homestay family is your home away from home.
